The show presents some of the many rhythms and dance styles existing in Brazil as well as those introduced from other parts of the world. The idea of the show is to present the Brazilian mixture of sounds, movements and races which characterizes this country surrounded by art.
It aims at showing a little of our Portuguese, Argentinean, Italian, Spanish, American, French, African origins… and why, after all, we become Brazilian.
It is the portrait of a country which hosts many different races and is therefore immensely rich culturally.
Brazil incorporates the biggest show on earth, because it contains the whole world, with its races, beliefs and cultures. The Brazilian collective conscience is world-wide. Art in general, and especially music and dance, express this concept magnificently. |
